Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 16, 2026

At VClaw, we believe that privacy is the foundation of business trust. This policy outlines our comprehensive approach to handling your data with maximum transparency and security, especially within our local-first architecture.

1. Data Collection

We minimize data collection to what is strictly necessary. Most of your operational data is stored directly on your device. We only process:

  • 1Local Identity Information: Workspace name and preferences stored in your browser.
  • 2Operational Data: Orders, customers, and appointments reside entirely in your local storage (IndexedDB/SQLite).
  • 3Third-party Integrations: If you use VietQR or Zalo, minimal data is sent to these providers to perform catch tasks (e.g., generating a QR code).

2. How We Use Data

Your data belongs to you. We do not collect your operational data to train internal models or for behavioral analysis. Data is strictly used to:

  • 1Provide real-time operational dashboards on your machine.
  • 2Generate business workflows and reminders for operators.
  • 3Improve user experience via anonymous telemetry (if opted-in).

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only when you actively trigger connectivity actions (e.g., sending a bill via chat or a payment request).

4. Security Measures

As a local-first system, security resides at two layers:

  • 1Device Layer: Data is protected by your operating system and browser's built-in security.
  • 2Application Layer: Encryption of sensitive data and use of secure protocols (TLS 1.3) for integration adapters.

5. Your Rights

You have full control over your data. You can delete all application data by clearing your browser cache or using the 'Delete Data' feature within VClaw settings.
